The working principle of the vertical tube expander is to use a pneumatic high-pressure pump to pressurize and generate pressure. The pressure acts on the inner wall of the heat exchange tube through the expansion head, and the heat exchange tube and the tube sheet expand in the tube sheet hole to achieve the purpose of expanding the tube.

In order to avoid malfunctions during use, the tube must be placed flat and the force should be applied evenly during operation, so that the expansion rod and expansion bead will not break. During the tube expansion process, the friction and heat generated by the tube will change the mechanical properties. If the equipment is not used for a long time, the tube expander should be cleaned after use, coated with engine oil, and stored in a dry place to avoid moisture and rust.
